Efficient and compact static neutralisation
EXAIR Gen4 ionising bars effectively remove built-up static electricity on paper, foil and plastic. The compact design makes it easy to integrate the bars into existing machines. The electrically powered ionising bars are small and easy to install even in confined machine spaces where charging occurs. They are particularly suitable for surfaces that must not be affected by air currents.
Using a 5kV power supply, a cloud of positive and negative electrons is formed, causing the static charge to disappear. Each ionisation rod is supplied with a 1.5 metre long, electromagnetically shielded cable.
