Full-Flow Air Knife™

Simpler air knife with full length airflow

The EXAIR Full-Flow Air Knife™ combines the original EXAIR design with full-length airflow. It uses a Coanda profile that deflects the airflow at a 90° angle, creating a low-pressure area that draws in ambient air at a 30:1 ratio.

Efficient air knife for confined spaces

The Full-Flow Air Knife borrows design principles from our original Standard Air Knife™ with the added benefit of full length airflow, but has higher operating costs than the Super Air Knife. Our Full-Flow Air Knife is small and compact, allowing it to fit in tight machine spaces. This is a cost-effective option and is available as standard in lengths from 76 mm to 914 mm. The Full-Flow Air Knife is available in aluminium or 303SS. Customised sizes and materials are also available.

Which air knife is best for your application?

Here is a comparison of EXAIR's three different types of air knives - Super Air Knife, Standard Air Knife and Full-Flow Air Knife.

EXAIR Super Air Knife

Super Air Knife

  • Best choice for all types of applications
  • Lowest operating cost
  • Highest efficiency (lowest consumption of compressed air)
  • The most quiet air knife
  • Air amplification ratio 40:1
  • Compressed air inlets on each end and at the bottom of the air knife
  • Airflow length and overall length are the same

EXAIR Standard Air Knife

Standard Air Knife

  • Good choice when a lower purchase price is desired
  • Powerful and even airflow with high velolcity.
  • Higher operating cost compared to the Super Air Knife
  • Higher dBA rating compared to Super Air Knife
  • Air amplification ratio of 30:1
  • Compressed air inlets on each end of the air knife
  • Overall length is 25 mm longer than the airflow length

EXAIR Full-Flow Air Knife

Full-Flow Air Knife

  • Good choice for confined spaces
  • Good performance
  • Lowest purchase price
  • Higher operating cost compared to the Super Air Knife
  • Air amplification ratio of 30:1
  • Smallest size
  • Compressed air inlet on the back of the air knife as standard choice
  • Airflow length and overall length are the same

EXAIR Compressed air products are designed to optimise and streamline various industrial processes, and to improve the working environment.

The product range includes air knives, blow nozzles, blow guns, pneumatic vacuum conveyors and products for discharging static electricity.

EXAIR products are used in the manufacturing industry for

  • blowing clean using compressed air
  • cooling
  • drying
  • surface treatment
  • material transport (vacuum conveyors)
  • industrial vacuum cleaning (wet and dry materials)
  • removal of static electricity

EXAIR was founded in 1983 with the aim of providing the manufacturing industry with safer and more efficient air-powered products. The basic principle was to manufacture and supply the market with high quality products at a reasonable price.
