EXAIR Vortex Tubes™

Reliable, maintenance-free solution for industrial spot cooling problems

EXAIR Vortex tubes convert standard compressed air into two air streams, one hot and one ice cold, without electricity or moving parts. The cold air stream, whose temperature can be adjusted, is used for fast and precise cooling without the need for coolant.

Maintenance-free spot cooling with adjustable temperature

EXAIR vortex tubes offer a cost-effective, reliable and maintenance-free solution for a variety of industrial spot cooling applications. Airflow, temperature and cooling power can be adjusted to generate temperatures from -46°C to +127°C. Using standard compressed air as an energy source, the vortex tubes create two air streams, one cold and one hot, with no moving parts. They are made of durable stainless steel, making them ideal for corrosive or hygienic environments.

EXAIR Compressed air products are designed to optimise and streamline various industrial processes, and to improve the working environment.

The product range includes air knives, blow nozzles, blow guns, pneumatic vacuum conveyors and products for discharging static electricity.

EXAIR products are used in the manufacturing industry for

  • blowing clean using compressed air
  • cooling
  • drying
  • surface treatment
  • material transport (vacuum conveyors)
  • industrial vacuum cleaning (wet and dry materials)
  • removal of static electricity

EXAIR was founded in 1983 with the aim of providing the manufacturing industry with safer and more efficient air-powered products. The basic principle was to manufacture and supply the market with high quality products at a reasonable price.
