All construction materials are selected to be compatible with the stored product. - Flame-retardant and UV-resistant seal
Materials are flame-retardant in accordance with DIN 22100/ 22188. Additionally, materials subject to the atmosphere are UV-resistant.
Design features
Designed for extreme weather conditions
The SM1 is equipped with weather protection plates and can be used in areas with extremely high snow loads. The structure is designed for 10 kN/m².
Flame retardant materials
The SM1 seal is supplied with flame retardant membranes. The fabric used is fire tested according to DIN 22100/22188. The combination of flame retardant properties and good electrical continuity protects against edge fires throughout the life of the storage tank.
