NEMA 4 (IP66) Cabinet Coolers (dust and oil tight, splash proof, for indoor and outdoor use) have a low pressure relief valve for both the vortex tube and the cabinet exhaust air. This valve closes and seals when the chiller is not in use to maintain the NEMA rating of the electronic cabinet. NEMA 4 (IP66) Cabinet Coolers are available in many cooling capacities for both large and small control cabinets. Unlike an expensive, Freon-based air conditioner, EXAIR Cabinet Coolers use a vortex tube to produce cold air from compressed air - with no moving parts. They can be installed in minutes through a standard electrical outlet.

NEMA 4 Cabinet Cooler® systems are available with thermostatic control or as continuous operation systems. Each system includes a water/dirt filter separator to prevent condensation and dirt from entering the cabinet, as well as a cold air distribution kit used to direct air for circulation or to hot spots. All Cabinet Coolers are UL certified and CE approved. They are a cost-effective and reliable way to cool and purge electronic control cabinets.
