Where should I place the ioniser in my process?

The most effective placement of an ioniser is usually just before the area of the process where the static electricity is causing problems, such as tearing, blocking or discharging towards personnel. In some cases, several ionisers may be needed in the same process, as static electricity can build up again later. If the purpose is cleaning, the ioniser should be placed just before the packaging or finishing step.

We also offer a Static Meter (model 7905) that can be used to locate where in the process static electricity occurs. The Static Meter measures both the polarity and strength of the static field.
