What kind of maintenance is required for an Ionising Bar?
Use a soft brush (e.g. a toothbrush) to clean the emitter tips and duct from dust and particles. Do not use anything that can bend or dull the emitter tips. Also avoid soaps or liquid cleaners that can leave a conductive coating - this can degrade performance and shorten life.
Regular cleaning as part of your planned maintenance schedule can prevent any performance issues. The frequency of cleaning depends on the environment in which the ioniser is used: in dirty industrial environments, daily cleaning may be needed, while in cleanroom environments, once a month is often sufficient.
Important: Never clean an ioniser when it is switched on!
