What are the temperature limits for the air knives?

Air knives are designed to withstand different temperatures depending on the material and type of washer used. Below you will find the recommended temperature limits for each model:

  • Aluminium Air Knife with plastic tray: up to 82 °C

  • Aluminium Air Knife with stainless steel blade: up to 205 °C

  • Stainless steel Air Knife with plastic tray: up to 82 °C

  • Stainless steel Air Knife with stainless steel disc: up to 427 °C*

*Temperatures above 427°C can cause intergranular corrosion, which can clog the air gap over time.
