How does hot compressed air affect a Vortex Tube?

A Vortex Tube produces a temperature decrease in the cold outlet and a temperature increase in the warm outlet relative to the supply air temperature. If the inlet temperature increases, the temperature of both the cold and the hot air stream will increase correspondingly.
