EXAIR cabinet coolers
EXAIR's compressed air cooling systems for enclosures and control cabinets protect electronics and prevent production stops caused by e.g. overheating, dirt or moisture in the cabinets. The right type of cooling ensures reliable operation and minimises the risk of downtime.
The cooling systems use vortex tube technology to produce cold air using compressed air. Vortex technology provides highly efficient cooling with no moving parts, making the system virtually maintenance-free and highly durable. It is also a cost-effective solution compared to traditional air conditioning systems.

Cabinet Cooler NEMA 12 (IP54)
For cooling dust-tight, oil-tight indoor enclosures where no liquids or corrosives are present.

Cabinet Cooler NEMA 4 (IP66)
Dust- and oil-proof system for cooling electronic equipment. Suitable for indoor and outdoor environments.

Cabinet Cooler NEMA 4X (IP66)
Corrosion-resistant, dust- and oil-proof system for cooling electronic equipment. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments.
How do EXAIR compressed air cabinet coolers work?
EXAIR's cabinet coolers use vortex tube technology to produce cold air using compressed air. The cooling system is equipped with a stainless steel vortex tube connected to a compressed air supply. The compressed air is converted into a hot and a cold air flow using the vortex principle.

1. Compressed air enters the vortex tube.
2. The air spins at high speed, creating a vortex that separates the air into a hot air flow and a cold air flow.
3. The cold air is directed into the cabinet to be cooled.
4. The hot air is discharged through the vortex tube outside the control cabinet.
5. The cabinet is cooled and filled with clean, cold air, which also prevents ambient air from entering the cabinet.
