Heavy duty bucket lid edge seal
The SM1 Heavy Duty Shoe Plate Rim Seal is a fluid mounted primary shoe plate seal with a secondary seal mounted on the shoe. This robust seal is specifically designed for arctic conditions with very high snow loads. The scissor mechanism is designed and tested for a snow load of 10 kN/m².

All materials of construction are selected to be compatible with the stored product. - Flame retardant and UV resistant seal
The materials are flame retardant according to DIN 22100/22188. In addition, materials exposed to the atmosphere are UV resistant.
Construction details
Designed for extreme weather conditions
The SM1 is equipped with weather protection plates and can be used in areas with extremely high snow loads. The structure is designed for 10 kN/m².
Flame retardant materials
The SM1 seal is supplied with flame retardant membranes. The fabric used is fire tested according to DIN 22100/22188. The combination of flame retardant properties and good electrical continuity protects against edge fires throughout the life of the storage tank.
