SealMaster® Secondary sealing

Secondary seal mounted on the tank edge

SealMaster floating roof sealant was developed over 35 years ago with the aim of creating a seal that adapts to the irregularities of edge spaces, while remaining gas-tight and virtually maintenance-free. The result is the SealMaster sealing system.

Advantages of the programme

  • Best available technology to reduce emissions and product losses
SealMaster is designed according to EEMUA 159 guidelines, with standard working range R(-X/+3X), highest BREF rating and best KRA factor according to EPA Chapter 42.
  • Excellent working area
SealMaster can be designed for both EEMUA R(-X/+3X) and API ± approx. 10 cm working range.
  • Good weather protection
The seal prevents the penetration of rainwater.
  • Trouble-free operation
SealMaster centres the floating roof and dampens horizontal movements, preventing the roof from sticking and the edge seal from being pinched between the roof and the tank shell.
