The EmiControl automatic extinguishing system is a complete system that works fully automatically and is individually adapted to your needs.
An optimally adapted pumping station is the basis for an efficiently functioning extinguishing system. The pumping station is not only the water supply but also the central component of any fire protection system. In the event of an emergency, it must be reliable and work up to 100%. The system operates fully automatically and is fully customised to the customer's wishes and needs, taking into account local conditions.
The pump container can be combined with an extinguishing monitor, FT40 fire extinguishing turbine or spray nozzles, depending on the application.

How an automatic extinguishing system with infrared detection works
Infrared systems continuously scan the hall surface and record the surface temperature. If a temperature increase is detected in any of the defined monitoring areas, the system is activated.
- The fire alarm is sent to the control centre of the extinguishing system, which triggers an audible and visual alarm and forwards the signal to the responsible fire alarm centre.
- At the same time, the early fire detection system starts an extinguishing cycle with the extinguishing monitor or extinguishing turbine closest to the fire centre. The extinguishing agent is directed with high precision directly at the source of the fire.
- During the extinguishing cycle, the infrared system continues to monitor the defined area and re-analyses the panoramic thermal image. If the fire alarm criteria are still met during the next monitoring cycle, a new extinguishing cycle is started. This continues until the hot spot is completely extinguished.
Depending on the distance between the fire source and the extinguishing monitor or extinguishing turbine, the type of spray and the swivelling range around the fire centre are adjusted to achieve the best possible extinguishing results.
If a hot spot is detected at another location within the surveillance area, the infrared system analyses which of the hot spots is the largest and most critical. This is dealt with first.
Configuration of an automatic extinguishing system:

- Extinguishing system control centre
- Line valves for different zones
- Visual alarm signals
- Booster pump(s) (with diesel engine or electric drive)
- Test line and pump control
- Optional: foam mixer, collection tray and foam tanks
The pump container can be configured with the following extinguishing equipment, depending on the protection objectives and protection areas:
- Water mist turbine(s)
- Extinguishing monitor
- Robust fog nozzles
