Is the dust problem at a specific point or over a larger area?
When choosing dust control equipment it is important to know if the dust problem area is at a specific point or over a larger area.
Specific point
If the dust problem is at a specific point, dust is usually suppressed close to the dust source, e.g. at transfer points, tipping points or crushers. Recommended equipment would be a mobile lance (L3) or a near-source system consisting of H2 components or DustFlex.
Larger area
When there is a dust problem over a larger area, dust controllers (V7, V12S, V22) are more suitable and can cover a distance up to 90 metres.
